Mara Luini was born in Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan) (Italy) in 1984. In December 2006 she got the bachelor degree in Biological Science (104/110) at the University of Insubria (Varese, Italy) with a thesis entitled “Assessment of the presence of heavy metals in waters of the “Palude Brabbia” through Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy ”.
She is completing her master in Biological Sciences at the University of Insubria (Varese).
She is currently performing research on emerging pollutants (Fragrances) at the QSAR Research Unit in Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Department of Structural and Functional Biology - University of Insubria - Varese.
